This is a club for people who don't like it when people act Japanese when they're not.

Purpose:
You are not Japanese unless you are :"D So while you're here, don't act it. Learning Japanese is one thing, so is liking anime. But running around using 'Kawaii' and 'sugoi' and putting 'desu' after all your sentences and refusing to listen to music from anywhere else, ect. ect. is a whole nother thing. YOU'RE NOT JAPANESE. YOU MOST LIKELY DON'T KNOW AS MUCH ABOUT THE COUNTRY AS YOU THINK YOU DO. You can like the culture-- but get in touch with your own, first? (Oh yeah, and don't take this club too seriously

Let me better explain this club.
NOW, IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DOESN'T TOTALLY ANNOY YOU, THEN THIS CLUB IS NOT FOR YOU. ^^
-People who worship Japan just because it's a fad.
-People who listen to Japanese music only, and refuse to listen to American music or any other type of music because they speak English.
Me: "So, if your favorite bands spoke English, you wouldn't listen to them?"
Wap: "Uh, no!"
More like, Uh, yes!
-People who suck up to Japanese people BECAUSE they're Japanese.
-People who say, quote: "Are you Japanese? If you're not, take it as a compliment~!" What the heck, if you were a serial killer and Japanese, that'd be a compliment?
-People who attempt to speak the little Japanese they know and use it in every situation possible. "Kawaii desu yo!"
-Even worse, people who can't even PRONOUNCE it.
-People who are set on moving to Japan and becoming an English teacher. Why? Don't ask me. I don't see the logic behind it. Though that does sound like fun, haha.
-Quote: "*sigh*, sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong country."
-People who sit there and study all of Japan's history but hate any other history in the world. Okay, I hate American history too, but seriously, although Japan has an interesting history, there are other countries out there with just as fascinating, if not, more, histories. Jeez people.
-And, the grand prize winner, people who think that Japan is really like it is in anime. HAHAHA no. ;D

Annoyed yet? If not, either YOU'RE Wapanese, or you're VERY VERY patient.

August 22nd, 2006- Finally a contest. It's very generic at the moment because I can't really think of anything for a contest. ^^' If you have suggestions, and it doesn't involve drawing hate pictures, then note the club and we'll see about doing it! Look down to the contest section for info.

-The only required thing is that it must say 'You Are Not Japanese' on it.
